Since I can’t hear – I live with the assumption my people can’t hear as well.
This is how I tell them I’m hungry. I sit very quietly. Then, when they make eye contact with me, I jump up and do a littel circle dance. If they don’t pay attention, I sit back down quietly until I they make eye contact again.
When I’m really hungry, I’ll do the circle dance several times so they understand.
It’s really hard to train the fur-less creatures so they know what I want!
I jumped up on Angel’s desk and tried to snitch her milk. I tried to let her gumballs out so I could play with them. I tossed her taxes stuff that she was working on, onto the floor. I chewed on the handle to her video camera. I stepped on the receipts from the pharmacy and I stuck my nose in her tea.
Doesn’t she realize that a cat needs to be entertained?
You’d think she’d get the hint and play with me or let me outside or something.
But no…I had to finally go lay in my bed and take a cat nap – I was that bored!
I surprised Angel when she came home from work last night…She found me curled up on top of the washing machine, sleeping.
A cat has to keep them guessing – it doesn’t pay to get too predictable.
Other sleeping places I like, besides my bed and theirs, is on the couch on top of the blankets, on Hulk’s office chair, on top of Angel’s desk, next to the heating vent sprawled out on top of my toys (Hulk puts the toys there otherwise I’ll lay up against the vent and no one gets any heat but me), in the kid’s closet on top of the Barbie case, in Angel’s closet behind the spare pillows.
Where do you like to sleep that is out of the ordinary?
Did you know that today – January 19th – is Christian Feast Day? I wish I had a better feast for breakfast – Angel gave me same old, same old.
Yup, and Edgar Allan Poe’s birthday. You know, the scary writer? Also, in Texas, it’s Confederate Heroes Day.
Now, you know I’m bored when I start quoting stuff like that.
…I can’t wait until spring when I can spend time outdoors without freezing my pads off! It’s never boring in spring and summer – lots of grass and bugs, not to mention my new pals next door (Lily and Pearl – two cute little energetic Boxers!)
When Angel writes, someone has to make sure she does her work properly.
By properly, I mean take enough play breaks and coffee or tea breaks so she doesn’t get stagnant. Also, I walk in front of her screen to give her eyes a break from staring at the computer screen all the time.
It’s not easy being everything to everybody all the time!
The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people
to click on it daily so they can meet their quota of getting
FREE FOOD donated every day to abused and neglected animals.
It takes about 15 seconds to go to their site and
click on the purple box 'fund food for animals for free'.
This doesn't cost you a thing.
Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily
visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange
for advertising. Click here to Help
