Angel has been threatening to give me a bath – with soap and a dunking and not just the water on a washcloth that she used. Since I tramped around in the creosote from the ash pan, she says I’m filthy.
I was saved by the temperature yesterday – it was too cold (even with heat in the house there was a little chill) for her to feel comfortable about giving me a bath.
When I know this dreaded deed is about to happen, I run and hide.
And, I turn into an octopus in the utility sink, too. Who knew cats could generate about a dozen paws to get out of the sink when the water starts running?
Dirty cats rule…
KatyKat has been acting very strange the last few days – she’s been making little “mews” and following me around.
I don’t understand what she’s trying to tell me – this isn’t like her to follow me. Her meows are usually loud, long and jarring.
Does anyone know what might be going on? Is she ill? hurt? I don’t know.
She’s off her fee a bit as well – not eating her favorite canned foods, not asking for treats. She just slept ALL day yesterday.
If she’s not better when I get home from work, I may have to take her to the dreaded vet.
Angel
Oh, YAWN!
I’m so tired. Angel had that darn camera out again and caught me mid-yawn. I have some very nice teeth if I do say so myself.
Angel says they need to be cleaned again. I hate that part – going to the vet’s office, getting the anesthetic before getting my teeth cleaned and staying overnight.
Apparently the vet’s office doesn’t want me to come and get them cleaned anymore, unless it becomes a health issue – I make too much of a ruckus and get all the other kitties and puppies started and it turns into a real melee when I have to stay overngiht.
I’m not crazy about the drive over their either – I get the “saliva ropes” thing going, just like a dog does.
So the fact that they’d prefer me to not have it done is no big deal for me.
