Cats are very smart  – and can learn to do tricks as well as relearn unacceptable behavior (like jumping on counters or peeing on the floor).

The key to remember when training your cat is that cats aren’t simply motivated by praise like dogs are – they respond much more favorably to treats first, and then followed by praise to cement the behavior.
