Everyone at my house has a cold – Hulk has had the sniffles and watery eyes for a week now, Angel has the sore throat and I have a runny nose.
Especially when Angel grabs me off the end of the bed and snuggles up close with me near her pillow.
For the last couple of days, she’s done that – and I’ve dripped all over her pillwo or arm.
‘Course, I don’t like the cuddling and snuggling, so I help it to run a little – keeps the hugs and kisses away!
But it tough for a cat with a runny nose – we don’t have opposible thumbs that we can blow our noses with – we can 0nly blow bubbles.

Did you know that one of my favorite actors for the black and white films was born on today’s date in 1880? Yup – W.C. Fields.
I love to watch W.C.and Mae West in movies together; the interaction is potent. They are both such scoundrels – I do love “bad boys and girls”.
He flourishes his hat to her a lot and it makes me want to chase it. She always has a big feather in her hat that bobs and wiggles, too. If I could only jump through the TV screen, I’d have lots of toys to keep me occupied for hours.
He is remembered for saying “my little chickadee” – in fact Angel told me that she and her nieces, Vicki and Kathy (they were all the same age), used to go around saying this when they were little – they thought they were really cool and very grown-up.

I saw some really bizarre behavior from Angel today.
She had this little blue teapot she calls a Neti Pot. She poured water and emptied a package that looked like sweetener into the pot and stirred it up like she usually does; but instead of pouring it into a cup, she stuck the end of the teapot up one of her nostrils.
Gross! Then she tilted her head and let the “tea” run out her other nostril. I hightailed it out of the bathroom right then and there. I’m telling you, there is no way I’ll let her put that stuff in my nose. No way!
I think she’s losing it.

Yeah, so I could see the rain hitting the windows and my first thought was…
Spring! Yeah, green grass, bugs and warm weather, yippee!
So I begged to go outside. Angel kept shaking her head “no” at me, but if I’m persistent I can wear her down.
So she finally put my harness and leash on me and let me outside.
MEOW – its WET out and its COLD out.
Who ever heard of a rainstorm on January 24th anyway?
Is this some crazy weather we’re having or what? I spent about three minutes outside before I couldn’t take the wet fur, so then I meowed until she let me back in the house.
Snowmobilers hate this stuff – they want it cold and fluffy, not cold and wet.
