Here’s a really cool site I found – for pet lovers of all ages: Petcentric
There’s a neat IQ test to see how much you really know about your cat or kitten.

here come those DOGS again
Angel only got one wrong! (Yeah she knows a lot about cats, but not everything!)
This site is sponsored by Purina and has a lot of good clean fun on it. You can post your pet videos or pictures and communicate with other like-minded pet owners.
It’s a cool site and fun to poke around – has dog stuff too…I guess even that subspecies needs people who car about them.
Cats Rule!
Dear pet lovers everywhere…
Abandoned pets need your help – please go to this site and click on the the purple box marked “fund food for animals for free.”
This is pretty simple… Please ask ten friends to each ask a further ten today!
The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily so they can meet their quota of getting FREE FOOD donated every day to abused and neglected animals. It takes less than a minute (about 15 seconds) to go to their site and click on the purple box ‘fund food for animals for free’. This doesn’t cost you a thing.
Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.
Here’s the web site! Please pass it along to people you know:

AGAIN, PLEASE TELL 10 FRIENDS!
It was a miserable few days for me…
Yeah – the fur-less creatures’ central air conditioning went out – it was in the high 90’s and very humid – actually the air was so hot and still (both inside and out) that it took your breath away.
Good slaves that they are, they put a fan on the floor for me to lay in front of until the repair man could get the needed parts and repair the central air conditioning.

Angel brushed me with her Furminator (C) brush to help get rid of the excess loose fur and help keep me cooler.
See, it’s hard for a cat to eliminate the heat – we are often in danger of overheating and getting sick. In the wild we would look for a cave or a hole deep under something where the air is cooler.
That’s because we only sweat through our paw pads and nose leather. You may see us panting hard – this is to help cool our bodies down so we don’t overheat.
I didn’t eat much while it was so hot and muggy – that would have meant more heat generated by my body while it was processing my food. But I did lap up a lot of water.
We’ve only just begun the summer months – so please keep your dear furry companions in mind and allow them a means to cool off.
Heat stroke is no joking matter – for pets or humans!
Cat’s Rule!
Sometimes I like to be a pest.
Take this morning for instance… Angel was at her desk typing and I jumped up to take a look at the birds in the feeders, then plopped my furry little behind on the papers she was trying to read.
Then, I stuck my tail in her glass of milk.

Supervising on the printer
Fun!
To top it all off – she left her pack of gum laying in the “in box” so I swiped several out and played chase with the sticks of gum.
She screeched and yelled for Hulk to come in and do something with me.
Hahaha – I like to shake things up once in a while!
Cats Rule (it helps if you have a little “CATtitude”)
I was feeling down because I don’t remember much about my mother and next to nothing about my father.
Since I was deaf from birth, chances are very likely I was kicked out of my family as a little kitten – Mother Nature relies on “survival of the fittest” and in Mother Nature, a deaf stray cat doesn’t stand much of a chance.

Happy Father's Day!
Angel told me that a father was a man who, among other things:
· takes care of you
· helps to teach right from wrong
· gives treats
· is there to dispense a pat on the head when you’re scared
· provides food for sustenance
· offers a dry, warm bed to help replenish energy
Well, if this is what a father does, then Hulk is my father. We may not be of the same species (cats are slightly superior) but he is my father in the true sense of the word.
So in that respect, Happy Father’s Day to the whiskered one – my father, Hulk!
