I’m back!

…Angel needed emergency gallbladder surgery and was out of commission for a few weeks, so I didn’t post while she needed my personalized care and attention.

While this threw a monkey wrench into my daily routine, I am fine and Angel is recovering nicely.

I slept on her feet or near her head when she got home from the hospital and gave her comforting licks on her hand or feet every few hours, so she could recover faster.  And they say cats are selfish!

here come those DOGS again

I missed her at my beck and call – she wasn’t well enough to go for walks or to give me treats whenever I wanted, but now that she’s better and mobile again, she remembers how nicely I took care of her and rewards me with treats and pets.

And she said that soon we’ll go for walks again!

This morning she told me she’s looking for patterns to make a cat-themed quilt in my honor.  So if anyone out there has any ideas or suggestions for cat quilts, send them on!

Katy - and I'm not a happy camper!

My people were late getting up this morning after a late night.

I had to resort to yowling, racing up the stairs, throwing my body against the guest room door, and then I had to jump on the dresser and meow as if I were beign skinned alive in order to get them to notice me.

You must know that cats are used to orderly routine and are creatures of habit. 

We don’t like our breakfast to be late and we don’t like to have to wait to go outside (on our harness and leash) when the sun is up and the birds are out.

You would think that our loyal subjects would be a bit more understanding or our desires and would see to them immediately.

I anticipate that this unacceptable behavior from my people will not repeat often.
